Seaton and Axminster are very fortunate to have a wide range of local services available to support our local residents. Our PCN works closely with these organisations through our Community Connector, Rachel.
Central to these are two non-profit organisations;
Axminster Community Waffle is a cafe with a fabulous waffle menu – but is also so much more! Providing a range of local community services and groups, as well as signposting to available services, the Waffle volunteers offer local activities and range of events. The organisation has close links with other voluntary services and organisations including The Archway Bookshop, AgeUK, Hospiscare and will signpost to these to ensure our patients have access to the most appropriate support.
Seaton Re:Store supports the Seaton and Axe Valley community to access and find help when they need it. This includes specific initiatives focusing on financial advice, signposting to food support, encouraging social connection and outdoor activity, exercise and creativity.
